From Bananas Foster French Toast to the Maine Lobster Club, the menu is seriously indulgent. Watch the sunlight dance on the water while you sip a mimosa.

Farmshop:  Tucked into the Brentwood Countrymart (but technically still in Santa Monica!), Farmshop is a chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurant offering fresh and innovative food which is why it’s beloved by the local celebrities. Even the basic egg dishes will impress your palate.

Casa Del Mar:  Feast your eyes on the 180-degree ocean view from Terraza Lounge in Casa Del Mar hotel while enjoying a lovely breakfast. With the bar as the other feature of the grand dining room, you won’t hesitate to order a mimosa!

Masillia:  New to the area from the owners of Zinque in Venice and West Hollywood, this open air space on 4th street serves fabulous French and Moraccan cuisine.  The wine list is pretty special too!

BEST BREAKFAST SANTA MONICA

Kreation: Santa Monica is pleased to be home to Kreation’s flagship organic cafe offering the most extensive breakfast menu we’ve ever seen.  With over 10 frittatas and scrambles, 5 acai bowls, and countless juices and smoothies, you could go 7 days a week and get something different. Keep an eye out for Renee Zellwegger, Meg Ryan, Zac Effron, Luke Wilson, and many more celebs who frequent this hot spot.  Enjoy outdoor or indoor seating.

Urth Cafe Santa Monica: Down on Main street, you’ll find this local favorite serving another large selection of breakfast items.  The daily quiche with a side salad is one of our favorites. Seating is mostly outdoors because the weather in Santa Monica is truly beautiful 300 days a year.

Huckleberry: Everything at this artisan bakery and café is made on-site for a difference you can taste. The pastry case is gorgeously stocked with handmade muffins, cakes, biscuits, tarts cookies, and more. The Fresh Blueberry Brioche is otherworldly. Buttery with a sweet yet tart filling, this Huckleberry signature is the perfect complement to a fresh cup of coffee. The seasonal menu incorporates the freshest produce from the farmers’ market. The Brisket Hash is hearty and homey while the Quinoa with Farmer’s Market Vegetables and Two Sunny Side Up Eggs is light yet filling. With surprising bursts of poppy throughout, the Breakfast Porridge is unlike any oatmeal you’ve ever had before.

The Courtyard Kitchen: Walking into this eatery feelings like you’re being transported to cafe on a side street the South of France. Tucked away from the street, this open-air restaurant serves breakfast and brunch cuisine with an international flair.

Sidecar Doughnuts: Nothing beats a warm doughnut fresh from the fryer for breakfast. Sidecar creates this ethereal experience every hour by making their doughnuts in small batches every hour. Monthly specials keep the menu exciting but the menu staples are anything but conventional. The Country Ham & Egg is a poached egg enveloped in ham and basil hollandaise sauce, encased in a perfectly raised doughnut. The Butter & Salt cake doughnut sounds simple, but the depth of flavor in the browned butter glaze is extraordinary.

Blue Daisy Cafe: The organic, fresh menu boasts your favorite breakfast fare with unique twists. Who wants a side of toast when you can have a buckwheat crepe smothered in jam? Deviate from the norm with zucchini hash browns that are crispy on the outside with a tender interior. With tantalizing breakfast cocktail options like the Bacon Bloody Mary and Sangria in a jar, Blue Daisy is great for group brunches.
